One of the most remarkable things about Air Zim is the very generous luggage allowance! Even in economy we were allowed to take 40kgs per person, in as many suitcases as you could carry. This is very generous compared to other airlines I have flown with and it really surprised me. I am a vegetarian so called ahead to book the onflight meals and I actually got them on both legs of the journey (this has alwasy been a problem with other airlines) and the food was ok, it wasn't great but hey, it was airline food and I appreciate that. The hosts onboard the flight were also very attentive.
