Air Zimbabwe Strike End
Air Zimbabwe, the national carrier of Zimbabwe, faced 6 weeks long flights suspension and cancellation of all its operations and flights (both regional and domestic). Strike which was announced by the pilots of Air Zimbabwe longed from 29th of July to 16th September, on the issue of non-payment of pilots wages and dues. 40 Air Zimbabwe pilots working there announced the strike against the airline as they were grossly unpaid by the airline.
Since Air Zimbabwe strike has been ended yet it will take some time for the airline to gain the confidence of its passengers back and take its flights frequency to normal. For now all Air Zimbabwe flights have been resumed to attract the passengers and gain their confidence in the airline which it lost because of the strike consequences.

New Flight Schedules
The Air Zimbabwe resumed flights are:
Domestic:
- Harare/Bulawayo/Harare –daily with effect from Friday, September 16, 2011.
- Harare/Victoria Falls/Harare – 4 frequencies: - Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays & Sundays with effect from Friday, September 16, 2011
- Harare/Johannesburg/Harare – 6 frequencies:- Mondays & Wednesdays in the morning out of Harare and will day-stop in Johannesburg. Fridays and Sundays will have two flights daily i.e. in the mornings and evenings with effect from Monday, September 19, 2011.
- Harare/Lusaka/Lubumbashi – Flights will operate on Fridays and Sundays only with effect from Friday, September 23, 2011.
- Harare/London/Harare – Flights will operate on Sundays only out of Harare and Mondays only out of London with effect from Sunday, September 25, 2011.
- Harare/Kuala Lumpur/Beijing – Flights will operate as normal on Fridays only with effect from Friday, September 23, 2011.
